Employer Value Propositions
According to Gartner, leading organizations utilize their Employer Value Proposition (EVP) to appeal to candidates by homing in on what they value most. Their research shows that when candidates view an EVP as attractive, employers can reach 50% deeper into the labor market. Further, organizations that effectively deliver on their EVP can increase new hire commitment by nearly 30%.
If your company is in need of a unique employer brand identity we can help. Using a mix of surveys, research and interviews with your employees we can craft a message that resonates with candidates and helps differentiate you in the job market.

Make Your Mark
Working with Benchmark365, a Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in the Philippines we created a brand new identity to help them compete with larger organizations for recruitment.
‘Make Your Mark’ is aimed at job seekers looking to make an impact in their career. It appeals to their motivation for career advancement and to find a company that will let them grow and contribute. Also a play on the company name it ties in nicely with the overall mission and messaging.
Our EVP project began by surveying their employee base online and conducting a number of Skype interviews with their team. The EVP positioning statement above also included 3 supporting pillar statements focusing on cool technology, learning and career paths.
Cruise to Work
We took a career with no identity and made it exciting with a “Cruise to Work” campaign for a small cruise line company.
Combined with a strong social media initiative and new career site at aclcareers.com, this EVP allows them to sell the adventure of river cruising for these temporary shipboard positions.
Make an ImpaCT
The “Make an ImpaCT” campaign is now part of the employer brand for the state of Connecticut. We were tasked by the Department of Administrative Services to help tell their story.
Make an ImpaCT is the positioning statement which serves to tell candidates that a job with the state of CT is a place where you can make a difference while serving your fellow citizens. The full EVP with supporting statements can be read on their LinkedIn page.
According to Universum, The employer value proposition (EVP) is a “unique set of offerings, associations and values to positively influence target candidates and employees.”
A company needs a unique employer offer. The EVP gives current and future employees a reason to work for an employer and reflects the company’s competitive advantage. Employers that manage their EVP effectively benefit from an increase in their talent pool and employee engagement.
RecTech Media is adept at uncovering and communicating your company’s unique value proposition.
