DIVERSITY HIRING STRATEGIES
Some employers are unaware of the many diversity hiring tools available to them but these tools are nothing with out a proper D&I strategy in place. First, leadership needs to make D&I (diversity and inclusion) a priority. Depending on company size you may even want to hire a D&I expert to help build your strategy. HR Lancers has dozens of D&I freelancers available for hire. Just create an employer account to get their contact info.
Once your priorities are in place we’d suggest a diversity sourcing strategy would be a good place to start. This could be comprised of advertising on some of the sites above as well as assigning a recruiter/sourcer to proactively court diversity candidates.
Tools like Seekout.io have built in diversity filters to help you find black/brown/female talent with just a few clicks. Ongoing effort will need to be made for this strategy to payoff. So be prepared to make diversity hiring an everyday part of your recruiting funnel.
