Helping Veterans Get Hired with Skills Matching

Finding a job after their military service affects nearly 200,000 veterans every year, and only one in four veterans have a job lined up after leaving the armed forces, according to the Pew Research Center.

Navy veteran Robyn J. Grable has launched Veterans ASCEND, an AI-powered talent sourcing platform for hiring vetrans.

The company’s Career AI Talent Equalizer (CATE) uses proprietary algorithms to translate a candidate’s experience into skills and then match those skills to the employer’s needs, bringing together candidates and job openings that belong together. This process removes the need for a traditional resume which is a major barrier for many entering the job market or shifting careers.
